Intro to laser engraving and acrylic painting
About this workshop
Make something you'll actually want to hang on your wall. In this hands-on evening you'll sketch and paint your own design onto a laser-engraved wood panel — then watch the laser trace your artwork to life into a finished, one-of-a-kind piece you carry home that same night. No experience required. Local artist Matthew Van Berckelaer guides you from blank panel to finished art at a relaxed pace, in a small group where everyone gets real attention. Bring a friend, make it a date night, or come solo and meet a few fellow makers. Everything's set out and ready for you — just show up to create. ✨
What to bring
Just yourself! Wear an apron or clothes you won't mind getting a little paint on — that's really all you need. Want a head start? Bring a photo or a design idea you'd love to paint. (We'll have inspiration on hand if you'd rather go with the flow.)
