Mongoose Design

I create custom wall art that blends 2D digital illustration with hands-on 3D craftsmanship. I begin by designing and drawing original illustrations, inspired by nature and geography, that are then translated into layered 3D compositions. I construct each piece by cutting and assembling individual wooden layers, then hand-finish them by sanding, staining, painting, and assembling to bring out depth and dimension. My custom maps follow a similar approach, with an emphasis on intricate detail and personalization to create one-of-a-kind keepsakes. For my topographic work, I use 3D-printed forms as a foundation, which I then refine and airbrush by hand to highlight contour and terrain, resulting in uniquely textured, dimensional pieces. All my maps can be commissioned to create a piece anywhere in the world.
