Kats Making Art

At my booth, I will offer original, hand-painted artwork in a range of sizes, including acrylic, oil, and watercolor pieces. My work is inspired by landscapes, nature, and moments captured during my travels, with a mix of larger statement pieces and smaller works. My process often begins with a photograph or a memory. I use those references as a starting point, then reinterpret them through paint, focusing on color, light, and movement. I work across different mediums depending on the feel I want to achieve, building layers and texture to bring each piece to life. What makes my work unique is the combination of realism and expression. While many pieces are rooted in real places or moments, I intentionally shift colors and brushwork to create a more emotional, atmospheric version of the scene.
